Product review

Everyone loves to read others opinions of something they are considering to purchase themselves, right? We want to know that what we are about to buy is worth the money, what we really want and "just right"!

I have found it is not terribly easy to get people to do a product review on my work!

There is two ways to look at this:

1. people are lazy

or

2. my work is great, so they don't have any complaints to share with others!!!
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

I prefer to see the low product review rate as the latter - wouldn't you?

----

Now and then, I DO get a picture of my product with the recipient, and love to see how they are received. That gives me the impetus to keep on...

Oooooh la la!!!

I was never into much lace and frills as a girl

But some of the lacy patterns you find for knitted items are just beautiful

So I enjoy any excuse to make one

Imagine my delight when I was asked to make a lacy wrap - hehe!!!

I was very happy with this result - and so was my customer!

win-win! 😊

A new adventure

This year I had a very lovely customer of mine ask if I could make ponchos

I hadn't, but I am always interested in experimenting

So we looked at patterns, and she found some she liked

Here they are!!!

you want them to know they are someone special to you

and that they are in your heart and your prayers

Got a musical bub?

I was seized with inspiration one day, and created rattles shaped as maracas!

I can make them any colour you like...

Each maraca has a rattle inside, so if your baby likes to get attention, I am sure they would love these!

I think that's a winner!!!!

I love to get pictures of my toys with their forever friends!

It is wonderful to see how much they are loved!

It doesn't matter how old, or young you are - Betsy-toys are always delightful! 😍

My most popular item

I continue to make blankies. Have made over 120 of them now.

That definitely qualifies them as my most popular item, right?

I always have some blankies made up, for urgent orders.

I then only need to grab the blankie and make an animal to go on top!

The bunny is always popular

So are elephants

Koalas are a new favourite

Placed on different colours

Occasionally there is an order for a teddy

Puppies are much loved

Teddies still get ordered too!

Now that is colourful!

Cuddles forever!

Another new item from Lorraine at Rainebo Designs patterns! I love them!

This Baby Hippo is just SO cuddly. It is the only word I can use to describe it!

What's not to love?

A cuddly new range

Please welcome my Critter range!

Thanks to Lorraine of Rainebo Designs, I am adding yet another range of cute, cuddly little toys.

Perfect for little hands to hold for comfort and cuddles.

I have started with making the lion, puppy and lamb, but hope to get to the bunny, kitten and teddy soon.

The photo below gives you an idea of their size on my hand. Just 14cm long from nose tip to tail.

Oh baby!

A few months ago I showed you some blankets that I had made for my nieces.

But recently I was asked about baby blankets, and it set me thinking that I could find a pattern for stroller blankets! I am not always sure if these experiments will work, but I can only try out new ideas and see if they sell!

A bright green one, measuring approximately 80cm (32") - the perfect size to keep a little one cosy on a walk to the park, to the shop, or when a parent needs to go for a jog!

Pink and black varigated yarn. Rather dazzling for some perhaps, but no doubt trendy for others =)
We all have individual tastes, and I was trying to cover a wide spectrum.

Scarves galore!

I have often found or been given odd balls of yarn, and it can be difficult to know just what to do with them. Many times I have used these odd balls of yarn to whip up a scarf, and I thought I would show you a few of those I have done recently.

There are SO many scarf patterns available, and I have even tried inventing a few of my own over the years, so there is a good variety here.

Different types of yarn lends itself to different scarf patterns...

The first is a cosy warm cotton/acrylic - it can be thoroughly frustrating trying to get the photograph to reflect the true colours, but this is a light blue mixed with white and a glittery fleck.

Next I found some bright warm chunky acrylic, and simultaneously found an amazing pattern which was SO quick!

A yarn I was gifted was an interesting mix of cotton, wool and silk! I found the colours to be rather fascinating! The lacey pattern suited this yarn perfectly.

A box of love

I'm going to be brief.

It's just the plain truth that sometimes words can be too much.

But a little gift can speak
comfort, encouragement and love...
