I have often found or been given odd balls of yarn, and it can be difficult to know just what to do with them. Many times I have used these odd balls of yarn to whip up a scarf, and I thought I would show you a few of those I have done recently.
There are SO many scarf patterns available, and I have even tried inventing a few of my own over the years, so there is a good variety here.
Different types of yarn lends itself to different scarf patterns...
The first is a cosy warm cotton/acrylic - it can be thoroughly frustrating trying to get the photograph to reflect the true colours, but this is a light blue mixed with white and a glittery fleck.
Next I found some bright warm chunky acrylic, and simultaneously found an amazing pattern which was SO quick!
A yarn I was gifted was an interesting mix of cotton, wool and silk! I found the colours to be rather fascinating! The lacey pattern suited this yarn perfectly.
Very interesting diversity of scarves! The twins oohed and aahed over them! Great work!
