Back to the beginning...

Most people start knitting scarves to begin with, and I did too. 

But I quickly moved onto beanies, and made quite a few of them. So it was fun recently to outfit almost an entire family with a new beanie for this winter!

I loved how the colours went together!

I wouldn't mind trying out a few more beanies patterns, but I always have more ideas than I have time, so maybe one day!

Light and colourful!

Scarfs and shawls can be almost as much fun as toys! 

I often get to experiment with colours, or new patterns, and it is great to see how they come out!

It isn't always straight forward, of course, but I am learning to persist and the results sure make it worth while! 

This scarf was very light, and therefore perfect for a friend of mine in Texas ☺

Zany Zebra!

Made this zebra for a gift! The stripey effect on the mane just makes me laugh!!!

And the stripes are dark brown - but they still look OK ☺ And much easier for me to see!

Perfect for little hands

This gorgeous little monkey - one of my "Hugables" range - is perfect for little hands!

They all come with a removable jacket - any choice of colour! 

Even a little tail!!!! ☺☺

While the wheels do not turn, this would be a great toy for small hands! 

The load pictured is not included, so anything could be transported! 

The engine can be removed from the back carriage, should play require it!

Wombat... or Bear... or both?

Every now and then I experiment with patterns, colours, sizes. 

It doesn't always become a success story...

but this time, I was very happy!

Originally intended to be a wombat taken from a bear pattern - I have called it a wombear!

Like the lions, I also took a break from making zebra blankies

but this is also an available option for your blankie

Lovely Lion

I took a break from lion blankies

their manes are more labour intensive than I had time for

but I now have them available again!

The perfect baby toy - bright and colourful!

A gorgeous shawl!

I do have quite a range of shawl patterns, but it is fun to make a pattern more than once!

Especially when you do it in different colours! 

I know, I've said it  before, but it is amazing to see how it comes out!

A few weeks back, I displayed a two-tone blue shawl

look at this!

Cutie duckie!

I have done this duckie before, but this one is special because it is made to the customer's specific requirements! A dress and a bow in her hair to match!

My sister says this turtle looks like a school boy!!!
